The teaching programs in the first cycle of studies of the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Science of the University of Sarajevo are organized according to the following study directions:

• Geography in Education,
• Regional and spatial planning,
• Tourism and environmental protection.

The teaching programs contain detailed information on the structure of the course, which includes the educational goals of the course, the content of the course at the level of teaching units, and the way the teaching is organized (number of lectures, exercises, seminars, etc.), as well as the structure of the student workload in terms of the number of hours required to successfully completed the subject.
The teaching programs also contain an overview of the basic and supplementary literature, as well as the structure of knowledge testing and evaluation. For each teaching program and for each academic year, a teacher and an assistant are appointed, who are responsible for the realization of the mentioned program.

The curricula were updated in June 2020.
